Concerts with Bergen Philharmonic at Canary Islands Music Festival

Pietari Inkinen appears at the Canary Islands Music Festival with the Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra and pianist Alexandra Dovgan. The first concert opens the 40th anniversary edition of the festival on January 10 at the Auditorio de Tenerife, whereas the second takes place on January 11 at the Auditorio Alfredo Kraus in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. The program of both concerts includes Edvard Grieg’s Peer Gynt Suite No. 1 and his Piano Concerto, as well as Sibelius’s 2nd Symphony.

800TH KBS SYMPHONY SUBSCRIPTION CONCERT WITH SUMI JO & BOMSORI KIM

On March 28 and 29, Pietari Inkinen will team up with iconic soprano Sumi Jo and famed violinist Bomsori Kim leading the KBS Symphony Orchestra in concerts at the KBS Hall and Seoul Arts Center Concert Hall.

Bartók & Bruckner with DRP & Olli Mustonen

In a one-off concert on March 17, Pietari Inkinen will join forces with the Deutsche Radio Philharmonie and pianist Olli Mustonen, who will be playing Bartók's Piano Concerto No. 2 in the first part. Bruckner's dramatic Symphony No. 2 will follow in the second part of the concert. The matinee will be broadcast live at 11:04am Central European Time on SR 2 Kultur Radio.

Szymanowski, Tchaikovsky & Sibelius with DRP & Clara-Jumi Kang

Pietari Inkinen will conduct the Deutsche Radio Philharmonie in a guest performance at the Arsenal of Metz on March 7, followed by a concert with the same program on March 8 at the Congresshalle Saarbrücken. The concerts will feature Szymanowski's Concert Overture, Tchaikovsky's Violin Concerto with soloist Clara-Jumi Kang, and Sibelius's 1st Symphony.

Shostakovich & Prokofiev in Bologna

On February 29, Pietari Inkinen will be back in Italy, this time to conduct a concert with the Orchestra of the Teatro Comunale of Bologna at the Teatro Manzoni. The program will feature Russian music: Shostakovich’s Cello Concerto No. 1 with soloist Ettore Pagano and Prokofiev’s Symphony No. 5.
